I Normally Don't Do This....But I Feel Compelled (Especially on Veteran's Day)
As we are painfully aware many of our soldiers in Iraq and stationed elsewhere in the world, will not get to be with their families. Regardless your position on the war, these men and women are doing as commanded and far from those they love. So, let's harness the power of the internet and our readership for a huge and well-deserved Thank You to our soldiers and veterans this Veteran's day and holiday season.
There is a site, Lets Say Thanks, sponsored by Xerox where you can select from a myriad of free Thank You cards designed by children to send to a soldier, one you will probably never meet, but who will appreciate the time you took to do so. My son, Maximus, just picked out his and proudly hit "send."
Here is the site: http://www.letssaythanks.com/Home1024.html
And for all my fellow bloggers, spread the word on your site and let's overwork Xerox until every last soldier gets his or her card....maybe even two!!!
